PARIS, FRANCE

Since I was in high school, I’ve always dreamt about traveling to Paris, France. Being 25 now, I finally tested the 3 years of studying French in the actual country itself. I honestly believe wherever you go, it does help to know the every day words to communicate. On the first day, we were lost for a bit and luckily the little French I knew helped with directions. We stayed in another Airbnb and it actually was on the penthouse top floor. We were able to get a grand view of Paris right out from our window.

With so much to see, we had to spread out every thing within 3 days and half. We went to:

  • jardin du Palais
  • Grand Rue de Paris
  • La Concorde
  • Musee Louvre
  • Tour Eiffel
  • Montmartre
  • Sacré-Cœur
  • Moulin Rouge
  • Château de Versailles
  • Notre Dame

Every day of our trip was non stop traveling and it was not that hard either. Unlike Barcelona, Paris has Uber. We figured the Metro either way still, and all you need to buy a pack of Carnet tickets from the Metro machine, and you’ll be good to go for 10 trips. It was exhausting seeing every thing but at the same time breath taking. When I saw the Eiffel tower, that’s when I told myself I wasn’t in New York City anymore.

I’m really happy that you got to live out one of your dreams and by the looks of it (with your list), it looks like you really made the most out of it. Your photos, like always are beautiful, with a unique “Joan”-sense to them. Just like your photos, you look very beautiful as well too. 2017, may more of your dreams occur.
